Our Social & Community Participation Services include:

• Community Access Support:

  We assist individuals in accessing and participating in various community activities and events. Our support staff accompany participants to community centers, libraries, recreational facilities, parks, clubs, and other venues. We promote social interactions and provide assistance as needed.

• Skill Development

  We offer skill development activities that enhance participants' social and communication skills, fostering greater independence and confidence. These activities may include group discussions, role-playing, problem-solving exercises, and building relationships within the community.

• Community Engagement:

  Our team facilitates opportunities for individuals to engage with their local community. We help participants join community groups, clubs, and organizations based on their interests and hobbies. We encourage active participation in community events, volunteering, and contributing to community initiatives.

• Recreational Activities:

  We organize and support individuals in engaging in recreational activities that align with their interests and abilities. This may include sports, arts and crafts, music programs, dance classes, gardening, cooking clubs, and other recreational pursuits. Our goal is to provide enjoyable experiences while promoting social interaction and skill development.

• Group Outings and Social Events:

  We arrange group outings and social events to foster connections and shared experiences. These outings may include visits to museums, concerts, movies, picnics, community festivals, and other community-based events. Participants have the opportunity to socialize, make friends, and create lasting memories.

• Transport Assistance:

  We provide transport assistance to ensure participants can access social and community activities. Our support staff can accompany individuals during transportation, providing assistance and support throughout the journey.

• Support Worker Matching:

  We strive to match participants with support workers who share common interests and values. This personalized approach ensures a positive and compatible relationship between participants and support staff, enhancing the overall experience of social and community participation.

Accessing Social & Community Participation Services under the NDIS:

To access our Social & Community Participation services under the NDIS, individuals must have an approved NDIS plan with funding allocated for social and community supports. We work closely with participants, their families, and support coordinators to develop personalized plans that align with their goals and funding.
